ADWOC quality management system includes four levels of documentation, used to ensure that the company overall quality policy and objectives are achieved and documented in accordance to requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
The following diagram (pyramid) summarizes the documentation of quality management system in ADWOC:

These levels are:
1. Level One: is the quality manual, which defines the company’s scope & policies with regard to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 that applies to the processes of the company.
2. Level Two: contains the procedures that describe the company’s quality processes where these are referred to within the quality manual. The procedures define the quality activities of the company within each of its processes.
3. Level Three: contains the work instructions that describe the operation and control of the company’s processes.
4. Level Four: contains forms and records that provide the evidence of conformity to the requirements and effective operation & control of the quality management system.
Each document should be approved for adequacy prior to issue, reviewed, updated as necessary, and made available at point of use.
Documents of external origin (Catalogues, Laws, Spec’s…etc) should be identified, also obsolete documents to prevent unintended use.
Records shall remain legible, readily identifiable, retrievable, controlled in terms of identification, storage, protection, retrieval, retention time, & disposition.
