INTRODUCTION

In order to:

- Minimize major incident of pipe sticking.

- Isolate the drill string axial deflection.

- Ensure maximum jarring efficiency in directional or crooked hole or in shallow well.

ADWOC has sustained the drilling activities in the region by providing a full range of an internationally JARS, SHOCK TOOLS and BUMPER SUBS.

FACILITIES AND SERVICES

ADWOC Jar and Shock Tools Redressing Shop is built to provide the capability to perform an accurate redressing service for:

- Griffith Hydro-Mechanical Drilling Jar,

- Griffith Shock Tool,

- Griffith Fishing and Coring Jar,

- Griffith Fishing Bumper Sub,

- Bowen Rotary and Fishing Jar, and

- Bowen Bumper Sub.

ADWOC has chosen its equipment and tools to work faster and safer to gain good reputation in this domain.

These services are performed in a large workshop equipped with a hydraulic break-out machine, which enables adequate torque during assembly and adjustments for Jars and Shock Tools.

The workshop also includes a jar tester, which is used for up stroke and down stroke function testing. At the mean time ADWOC maintains an inventory of spare parts to provide the overhauling and the maintenance when required.
